CSW Washdown Case Checkweigher

The PDI Washdown CSW Checkweigher is made to accurately weigh cases, trays, and cartons to ensure correct product weight before shipping while also being able to handle intense washdown procedures used in food-processing plants. All the functions of the machine occur in a compact footprint to save floorspace. The machine is proven to withstand high-pressure hoses, high-temperature water, soap, and sanitizer needed for meat, poultry, and dairy plants.

The Washdown version uses stainless IP69k load cells, air cylinders, gearboxes, and motors. Stainless steel is used for the junction box, main electrical enclosure, and operator interface enclosure. Conduit fittings for the main electrical enclosure are stainless as well. For this machine, the solenoid valves will be placed inside a stainless-steel box.

Stainless steel is also used for the bearings, which are spaced off from the machine and housed in a thermoplastic case. The aluminum on the machine is hard-anodized. The reject guard is sloped to prevent any water from pooling on it. The reject mounts are made of stainless steel.

There is an optional IP69k stainless swivel mount for the operator interface, and an optional open flap detect sensor. All PDI machines are made in America.
